New Tech Academy at Wayne
Preparing the Path to Success - Our purpose is to educate, facilitate and guide our students to become passionate, empathetic, critical thinkers and reflective lifelong-learners who posses grit. Our staff encourages the tenacity to overcome, the self-advocacy to speak up and big hearts to make a difference. We provide support and guidance to our students that will lead them to financially stable careers, community-oriented lifestyles, a balanced work life and global endeavors.

About Us
New Tech Academy is a school within a school at Wayne High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are home to 400 students grades 9-12. All students participate in a small learning community that utilizes project-based learning to drive instruction. At New Tech Academy, students will learn to work collaboratively in group environments to solve, design and critically think through real-world problems to present their findings to community members and local partners.
Culture Over Content - Learning, growing and creating communities are the driving forces that will then support content that is delivered in our courses. We encourage all students to live and work within our community, to take ownership of our program, group interactions and themselves.
